OSSENO on the Berlin Requirements Engineering Symposium 2018

On Tuesday, 27 November 2018, the Berlin Requirements Engineering Symposium will take place for the eighth time.

According to the motto “From traditional to model-based requirements management – fad or industrial necessity”, experts from industry and science will present solutions this year to meet the process-related, methodological and IT challenges.

Dr. Sebastian Adam will be present with a lecture on the topic “From text-based requirements to models and back…”.

Abstract: The discussion whether to document requirements based on text or models is often theoretical depending on the industry. Hybrid documentation forms have long been found in many project contexts, in which text requirements are enriched or detailed with graphical modelling. Today, however, text requests and model graphics are often maintained in parallel with the corresponding effort for manual synchronization or the risk of inconsistencies. Based on the ReqSuite® solution, we would therefore like to show in this presentation how text-based requirements can be automatically synchronized with graphical modeling such as BPMN and UML and how requirements engineering itself can be controlled on the basis of models.

We look forward to your visit to the lecture and the subsequent discussion.
