ReqSuite® Requirements Manager (RM)
This menu bar option triggers a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of element descriptions within the opened project. Besides syntactical correctness also semantical completeness of project contents is considered to this end improving overall readability, understanding, and reusability of project contents.
The results of this structural analysis can be obtained by clicking on the menu bar item “Quality Check”. ReqSuite® RM shows, a.o., which refinement relationships have not yet been worked out and which descriptions have gaps (see Figure 1).
The quality check distinguishes between errors (red circle with white cross) and warnings (yellow triangle with white exclamation mark). Errors must always be fixed in order to ensure quality, while warnings should be carefully checked, but may be ignored depending on the project context. Left-clicking on a warning or error table entry opens the editing window of the relevant content element, in which the skipped and incomplete steps can be reworked directly, thus ensuring the desidred quality of content data.
