To adjust the display language of the WebApp interface, select the desired language “German” or “English” from the “Language” selection menu in the settings bar (see Figure 1). The change you make takes effect immediately.

The password of the logged in user can be renewed in the settings bar by pressing the “Change password…” button (see Figure 2). Enter the current password, the new password and the new password repeatedly in the corresponding mask fields and confirm your entries by clicking on “Save“. The process can be aborted at any time using the “Cancel” button.

Furthermore, it is possible for an authenticated user to activate or deactivate the automatic display of help instructions and the receipt of system notifications by e-mail (see Figure 3). To do this, select the appropriate option in the settings bar using the checkbox, which will immediately take effect as described below:

  • “Hide tutorials”: Activating this option means that help instructions are no longer automatically displayed, even if they have not yet been displayed in the currently used Internet browser. As soon as you deactivate this option, the corresponding help instructions are displayed once again when you first visit a WebApp page for which there are help instructions.
  • “Email on changes”: If this option is activated, any changes to project content that affect you as a project participant will be notified by e-mail to your e-mail address stored in the system.
  • “Email on tasks”: Similar to changes, newly generated tasks that affect you as a project participant are notified by e-mail to your e-mail address stored in the system.

As user with administration rights, you can customize the appearance of the WebApp interface by typing an alternative title for the WebApp in the text field “Alternative App Title”, which replaces the default text “ReqSuite RM” in the title bar on the left. You can also change the main, dark and light as well as the background color via HTML color code to the desired value and confirm with the button “Save Customizing”. To restore the default values for the WebApp title or the surface colors, simply delete your entry in the text field and click the “Save Customizing” button or the “Default Colors” link below it (see Figure 4).

Note: The interface language can be changed at any time, i.e. also on the login page, via the settings bar. Password changes, notification settings and function navigation are only available to logged in users.
