ReqSuite® Requirements Manager (RM)
To adjust the localization of ReqSuite® RM, select the desired language “German (DE)”, “English (EN)” or “French (FR) (…coming soon)” from the “Language” section of the settings bar (see Figure 1). The change you make takes effect immediately and has no impact on the project language used for showing project content data.
An authenticated user can activate or deactivate the automatic display of help instructions and the receipt of system notifications via pop-up and by e-mail (see Figure 1). To this end, select the appropriate option in the settings bar using the activation slider the actuation of which will immediately take effect as described below:
- “Inform about Changes”: If this option is activated, any direct changes to project content that affect you as a project participant responsible for a that content will be notified via live pop-up and by e-mail to your e-mail address stored in the system.
- “Inform about Impacts”: This options refers to changes that are not directly made to project elements concerning you as a project participant but to other elements that just have an impact on the former.
- “Inform about Tasks”: Similar to changes on project contents, newly generated tasks that affect you as a project participant are notified via live pop-up and by e-mail to your e-mail address stored in the system.
- “Show Tutorials”: Activating this option means that help instructions are no longer automatically displayed, even if they have not yet been displayed in the currently used Internet browser. As soon as you deactivate this option, the corresponding help instructions are displayed once again when you first visit a ReqSuite® RM page for which help instructions exist.
The password of the logged-in user can be renewed in the settings bar by pressing the “Change password…” button (see Figure 2). Enter the current password, the new password and the new password repeatedly in the corresponding mask fields and confirm your entries by clicking on “Save“. The process can be aborted at any time using the “Cancel” button.
Users with administrative rights can customize the appearance of ReqSuite® RM user interface by typing an alternative description in the text field “Alternative App Title”, which replaces the default text “ReqSuite® RM” in the title bar on the left. You can also change the main, dark, and light as well as the header color via HTML color code to the desired value and confirm with button “Save Customizing”. To restore the default values for the title and surface colors, simply delete your entry in the text field and click the “Save Customizing” button or directly click the “Default Colors” link below that button (see Figure 2).
Note: The interface language can be changed at any time, i.e., also on the login page, via the settings bar. Password changes, notification settings, and function navigation, however, are only available to logged-in users.
